Daimler sale of EV-savvy Sensible plant allows diesel SUV production

Ineos Automotive verified on Tuesday that it is obtained the Daimler AG facility in Hambach, France that builds Clever EQ Fortwo electric powered cars—for creating throwback SUVs that are gasoline, diesel, and perhaps hydrogen gas-mobile run.

The cost of the plant was not disclosed, but Ineos suggests that ongoing production at the plant, which include the Grenadier, will translate to about 1,300 positions.
