On November 27th, Savic Bikes unveiled the C-Series output prototype at their on the web launch. THE PACK printed “The Savic electric motorbike story” from Dennis Savic just about 2 years ago, a young entrepreneur with a obvious eyesight.
Dennis Savic: “Motorcycling is not about heading from A to B, and it isn’t about staying a low-cost method of transportation, even though it is equally these points. Motorcycling is about currently being observed, it is about individual expression, who you are, and who you want to be. When men and women are asked, what sort of motorcycle they would like to experience, most really don’t reply with a design, they normally reply, “a Kawasaki, a Honda, a Ducati, a Harley”, etc. It is what a brand name represents and how a bicycle seems that actually resonates with a rider.”

By the finish of September, this ‘United Nations of parts’ was gathered in our West Melbourne workshop, ready for the interesting organization of assembly to begin once Covid restrictions are lifted.
Our Savic Bikes group is now also in a new workshop in West Melbourne

We assembled our initial (non-performing) Alpha motorcycle by early November, completely ready for the QAGOMA exhibition in Brisbane. The second Alpha has been assembled soon afterwards in preparation for our community start on November 27th.
Anything proceeds to seem promising for our very first bicycle to be on the highway in Melbourne in early 2021, providing that import delays do not keep up our motor controller provider, who is centered in Italy.
However, with additional than 400 unique components, assembling our bikes continues to be at the mercy of intercontinental shipping and delivery and airfreight schedules – so we are continuing to continue to keep all our fingers and toes crossed!
